Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actor for more than twenty years. Anna Gunn is an American actress. Her other roles comprise Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. The actress was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with acting in the Preparatory School she attended before her family relocated to Ohio at the end of the 1970's. She did theatre studies at Northwestern University, and spent one term at British American Drama Academy. Anna had a brief stint in Chicago the theatre before moving to television and film. Anna got her first major part as Arden as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in 1992. Anna continued to be in film and television shows like Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others until late the 1990's. She was then cast in The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock played two full seasons in Deadwood and was filming during the middle 2000's. Skyler was the character she played on Breaking Bad. Sully was another of her roles. Gunn appeared on stage for David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. Gunn also appeared in the audio drama podcast series of four parts called Numbered Days, which was released in 2022. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's wedding to Skyler. Walter White's life story as well as the stress on the marriage he shares with Skyler can be seen in the series.
